Why time travel is impossible
Entropy is why

Entropy cannot be reversed. It would violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics.

The reason we have causality, biological processes, thoughts, memories and even consciousness is entropy.

Travel 1 second in time and you will appear in space as the planet has moved. So in order to travel in time you must also teleport location.

What the fuck does thermal dynamics have to do with time travel?

Are you traveling in an igloo?

Time travel is not something I'm giving out info on. Someone already stole one of my machines.

Conventional physical laws are only applicable at certain scales and under certain conditions, and are by no means universal.

Re: Why time travel is impossible
Sure entropy can can be reversed. That is what intelligence does. It takes a disordered something and builds order from it. Or am I missing something. The physical laws describing a closed system, or our known universe are not necessarily the immutable laws governing all of reality. There are many regions where our laws break down or fail to describe extreme states of matter and energy.

My astronomy teacher did this great lecture in high school. I wish I could go back in time and listen to the whole thing. But he made a great case and convinced me.

After all the calculations it was like a .0000000001 (probably more 0s but you get the point) chance of it occurring...basically if our reality has that microscopic chance built into it then it is possible.

Guy was brilliant...my fav teacher for sure and then I randomly had him at the Junior College when he filled in for another Professor that semester. He was like my "Mister Feeny."

On of my fave subjects, I actually took some astronomy classes in college, but had to leave after my Soph year, the MATH.

Sounds like I would dug this professor as well

It was a cool class. He would meet up with us at nights and bring telescopes on the football field. All the punk popular kids would smoke weed and flash their headlights to try to be funny...but most people were serious students and had a lot of respect for him.

Whatever the mind of man can conceive it can achieve.

On a more biblical note; When man built the tower of Babel God basically says that if man can do this there is nothing impossible for us to achieve.

In a holographic universe like the smartest quantum physicists in the world say we are in there are no real rules or boundaries it’s all an program. Just reverse your sims game...done.

If nothing changed, Time would be frozen.

The perception of Time is movement and memory.

Unless you can "un move" everything there is no time travel.

In other words entropy.

Re: Why time travel is impossible
Op is held back by simple earthbound human physics.

When we achieve technology that allows us to slip into an alternate dimension (astral plane, dream world, etc) then all our silly physics go out the window.

As someone who has practiced astral projection for 30 years, I have personal confirmation of the non-existence of time and I therefore chuckle at antiquated scientific thinking. Every astral projector is by default, a quantum mechanic. We live, use, and experience quantum physics in real time on a regular basis. But low brow narrow minded fools will crane their heads back and caw at the sky over this because they simply are not capable of understanding.

“Time travel” is absolutely possible and actually quite ordinary and mundane. But stay down in your hole.

Re: Why time travel is impossible
You can also say time does not exist because there is an infinite number of measurable time. Hours in a day, seconds in an hour, nano seconds... time is infinitely divisible... therefore it is impossible to ever complete a full second because the infinite number of measurable time units would take forever to pass.

but is completely fine without it
