Mysterious metal in my foot.
I'm 37. I had some swelling in both lower legs, so I saw a foot doctor. I never had xrays of my lower extremities and what he found confused him and me. There are 2 needle looking pieces of metal in one of my feet between the toes, deep inside. Look like thin short pieces of metal like a sewing needle but no eye. He's not taking them out because he says they're not causing harm.

I have no scars on my feet. I have no memory of stepping on metal. My parents have no idea.

Anyone heard of this? Aliens, maybe?

also, if I recall correct there is some weird tradition to place gold needles in the body for vary (supposed) cures.

for instance if a child would not walking as expected when young could use such needles to "fix" the problem.

Were you around people coming from such beckground with weird belief?

My family is immigrants from a small town. I never heard of that belief but that sounds like something I should research.

Did you found the cause of the foot swelling? It’s normally related to liquid retention and it might be associated to high blood pressure.
