Covid contact tracing records being “abused”? Museum vandal in Italy identified using them!

Police in Treviso, in Northern Italy, spotted a visitor, inadvertently snapping toes off a 200 year old sculpture, while posing for a photo, on CCTV footage. They then used covid-19 contact tracing details to identify and locate the man.

Is this to be the new norm?
