A friend of mine was doing consulting/install work up there on some production lines.

He had to take a drug test and passed with flying colors. Why they tested him i don't know because he was later told by the plant manager the factory had to change their drug policy because 90% of the workers kept failing.

This is what is going on in America's factories. It is sad and disgusting. People wonder why their new car or whatever else you buy new breaks in 90 days.

OP I wish i could offer words of encouragement at fixing the problem. I don't see an improvement soon.

Well I've been going to work stoned for the last 20+ years.

The non-stoners have a hard time keeping up with my productivity and knowledge. I am the go to person when someone is stuck with something and am highly regarded by all of our clients.

Sure some people should not smoke at or before work as it fries their brains, it is not for everyone.

One thing that really pisses me off though are drug tests.
Someone smokes weed and it can be picked up for months in a piss test, yet someone smokes meth on the weekend and can pass a piss test on Monday. Who would you rather work with?

One of my first jobs almost 20 years ago was working as a clerk for an accounting firm. It was a small business doing accounting for small businesses. Didn't take long to discover all the old cpa's were high all day every day. Once I walked in a office where my 60 year old boss was breaking up a big pile of weed to roll up.
