The tally is collected from several day reports. Debate in UK now is whether to release a daily death number or just a weekly number FL curve is heading down, slowly, pos rate about 17% down from 19-20% and this is the pattern being observed in other locations. Implies that when infection rate reaches @20% HIT kicks in...meaning another 40-50% of the population has T cell immunity from prior virus exposures or immunizations Speaking of UK...flu deaths exceed covid deaths now for 7 weeks [link to www.thesun.co.uk (secure)] You can count on America to do the right thing after exhausting every other alternative." Over the past 7 days Texas reported 200k PCR tests, down from a peak of 400k+ over 7 days. Georgia (little over 1/3rd the pop) reported 230k PCR tests in the same period, a high for them. Florida (little over 2/3th the pop) reported 260k PCR tests despite the hurricane shutting down test sites last week. Az (About 1/4th the pop) reported 65k tests, down from a peak of 93k. CA (About 4/3rds the pop) reported 880k tests, which it has been doing pretty stably. It's far from the worst when it comes to testing, but testing 50% less is quite a bit.
