That means there have been over 128,000 excess deaths alone in Peru with a population of about 32 million? Adding that to 54,000 reported covid deaths? Mexico is 381,000 excess deaths with 206,000 covid deaths?? Somebody, please tell me my maths is wrong?

You got it right but just to be clear those covid deaths are included as part of the excess deaths toll, and not added to them. So, 128k excess deaths of which is made up by 54k *reported* covid deaths.

The excess death numbers in Peru, Mexico make sense to me. What doesn't make sense is Brazil's covid deaths are the same number as their excess deaths when I've seen from several reports that Brazil's covid deaths are very much an undercount.

Sigh.

We now have 23 kids positive and out sick. 14 just two days ago. I dont know which variant but we had four confirmed P1 cases about 10-14 days ago in Shelby County, Tennessee. Of the 23 kids, half have symptoms and 1 went to the hospital this morning.

The school board can not get custodial staff to come to work (and apparently, the job fair held by the custodial contractor yielded less than 50 people over a two day event). Our school is supposed to have a staff of 8 custodial staff for after hours sanitizing. We have ONE. She does her best but she cannot keep up. I have started going in after classes and helping the teacher scrub everything down. Wearing respirators and using bleach water.

Sorry, that drifted a little but its related. The spread is happening quickly and kids are getting sick now. Doing some deductive reasoning, I figure it is a variant of some flavor as none of the kids were becoming symptomatic a year ago with OG Sars CoV-19

Does anybody do technical analysis on charts? Kind of pathetic. Israel cases were collapsing before the first dose was even administered.

That is not a relevant point. The relevant data is when cases rise again, as they will, will they occur in the fully vaccinated.

Thanks for the article with the mention of EBV (Epstein-Barr Virus). That's something we need to keep an eye on. Epstein-Barr is nearly ubiquitous in the human population, but is kept latent by a healthy immune system -- most people never even knew they contracted it, unless they were among those who developed mononucleosis (as I did).

Some pathogens (incuding HIV, as well as Lyme) can cause immune disturbance to the point that the body cannot keep normally-latent viruses at bay. Kept unchecked, EBV can wreak havoc on the body (I've had active EBV for decades, presumably due to having Lyme. A lot of people with long term Lyme have active EBV. So do most people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.)

EBV can cause crushing fatigue along with many of the other long-COVID symptoms. It isn't a huge stretch to think that the reactivation of latent viruses is part of the long term damage from having COVID, in susceptible individuals. It isn't just EBV -- there are a whole mess of viruses and other pathogens that the immune system normally keeps in check. In AIDS, these were referred to as opportunistic infections --- diseases that took advantage of a severely compromised immune system and became health destroying. Sars-CoV-2 seems to have that potential as well.

I'll be called on this but I am going to call a spade a spade, and I am not being racist.

From my reading on the virus, this was created in the United States, moved to Canada, and then to Wuhan. Our country funded the research in Wuhan. Fauci was behind the move to Canada, when Obama shut down gain of function research in the United States.

Our country directly or indirectly created this virus. Fauci was moving it around in the depths of grants and funding. Now, he is in charge advising us as a country how we should get vaxxed from something that he was involved in the creation of. This is literally insane. This virus has been called out as the killer of over half a million Americans. It would seem that our country is at war with its citizens. Our way of life has been stripped. The elderly are deprived of human contact for over a years time. People have lost their businesses and livelihoods. This is just my observation. If anyone has a contrary view or can analyze it more favorably, I am all ready to listen.

Push for a new investigation in virus origins.

Which only works with truly independent science personnel and not the people who created the virus or funded it in the first place
