So either Delta is more severe or the accumulation of current infection and previous infection/s is making the incidence rate of MISC increase. Or both.

I'll be first to say I highly doubt the direct death rate will be any worse than before (should be less with each mutuation and better treatment)-- but to base death data during an initial 2-3 week spike in cases, when we know that data is not going to show for at least another 2-3 weeks is just ridiculous and dangerous. The highest number of deaths we saw in this pandemic was when the cases were actually declining (in the US)

I think we misisng a part of the puzzle.

The sudden knee jerk reactions to people over 60 who got to have a 3rd jab.

The speed of israels roll out on that 3rd vac as well.
Sure some will need it but not eveyone, to spend the millions once again jabbing the ones that have been jabbed.

I work at 4 sewage treatment plants in the #3, #4, and #5 hotspots of COVID in the United States, and nobody there was even wearing masks until a week ago nevermind hazmat suits. Not a single one has gotten sick.

I've personally been exposed to raw sewage at one of those plants, being sprayed in the face by mist from settling ponds, that was over two weeks ago. I'm fine.
