CC2, take a peep at the curve for this wave in Spain it kinda shows my point of Delta hitting way faster than earlier variants. 4 weeks from minimum to peak. I dont doubt these places have peaked, but what isnt necessarily true is those that try to extrapolate that to the entire US. These countries are no different than Florida and Louisiana. They will peek, and other states will see a rise. One major difference is this country is so large that there are multiple variants in different states right now. Columbia/Brazil has been detected for some time in Florida. Which brings me to these questions-- how can we all be assured the rise of cases in Florida are attributed solely to Delta? I am sure the positive tests dont say "You Mr Patient have a positive case of Delta". How many tests are performed to determine variants in a given area? Couldn't it be quite possible Florida is under the influence of multi-variants, and areas up north are still dealing with alpha? It could also explain why there are more "breakthru" cases in some areas than others. While the vaccines may protect you X% against delta, that could easily be 50% less than x% with another variant. I think there needs to be more questions asked regarding the variant testing, because its too easy to blame it all just on 'Delta". Agreed. I've said several times in this thread the virus being so "out in the wild" causes variants to percolate. I'm certain of this. I'm not convinced it's just Delta. i have wondered the same. as CC2 said, it should have been noticed by now. more rural areas are not going to seguence at all but i would have thought a city would have. i did find it odd that this outbreak wave started from the middle of the country. now that we are all open, the virus can mutate quicker. even if this is the imported DELTA, the US is due to have its own variant. I think I read this, but it started around Branson, Mo. Remember all of those untested illegal immigrants positive with Covid that are sent randomly around the United States? There were some of those that were sent to Branson, and that was a contributor to the outbreaks in that state. Whose fault is that, Biden and his administration and its policies. |

NEJM Aug 20;383(8):787-789.). -The first documented Ivermectin reaction due to these two mutations was identified in 2018 in Montpellier, France. + There are some side-effects documented, some associated with the effects of infestation/parasite death. + Some prescription drugs have mild or moderate (no major) interactions with ivermectin e.g. warfarin, diclofenac, and others which I am less familiar with, see drugs.com/drug-interactions/ivermectin-index.html ), and alcohol use is discouraged.
