Just an update...my dad's fully-vaxxed neighbor who came down with COVID died around noon yesterday. The neighbor's wife (also fully vaccinated) has now tested positive and is starting to display symptoms. She has gone to the hospital for the Regeneron cocktail (not that it helps). Things are just fucking grim.

Flu like symptoms...Fever, body aches, coughing...boy's ten years old with very mild symptoms

My full jabbed Pfizer friend said she is feeling back to almost 100% but was sick for almost 2 weeks. Did the neighbor start feeling better before he died??

I know three kids, through circles, that still are having issues controlling blood sugar (1) and 2 are exhausted easily.

The other parents stopped discussing kids... about 2 weeks ago as RSV cases exploded.

So sorry to hear GG. My friend that had a Moderna breakthrough that was doing poorly last week, had Regeneron and seems to be doing a bit better now. So hopefully it does help :(

My oldest son and his wife took the J&J because it was just one shot. He's been fine so far, but dil, I don't know. She's had some other issues and is a bit of a hypochondriac, if you know what I mean.

I'm not sure if this is even technically correct considering there was basically no flu last season. I checked the stats back in august, and by then more children had died of Covid that the flu.. so not sure how that statement is even correct there when the number of Covid cases in august 2020 was significant less than all of the 2019-2020 flu cases.
