As to how that would fit in with the charts you linked that would mean it would have to be killing faster aswell. Because the charts show the deaths aren't lagging the cases -- they are happening at the same time. So I don't think it is killing faster but that's not to say it isn't a more deadly variant. It could be for all I know. Maybe it's like the b117 variant -- more people are vulnerable to die from that variant but it doesn't kill quicker.

So yeah, they're still missing many cases IMO.

I won't make a DR-esque prediction. The most I can say is so long as the virus is still circulating somewhere in the world then no one should get complacent. Even if there is vaccines we must not get complacent.

So many different variants arise with this e484k mutation. I still don't know if this means they will create a booster shot that would work on all variants that have the e484k mutation... or if it means they would create a new booster shot every time a different variant with the e484k mutation becomes dominant... if you see what I'm saying?
