Many of today's Sunday papers declaring all NHS staff to have two mandatory covid jabs, I personally think that is wrong, you should given the choice, but where do you stand on this Para? Quite the dilemma....

My reply:

I think we all need to weigh our own personal circumstances, and make decisions based on those. Like you, Lago, I don't know that I would survive Covid -- and if I did, I suspect it would do a lot of permanent damage that might make me think I would have been better off dying. I was also a heavy smoker for many years, and was up to 2 packs a day when I finally quit almost a decade ago.

I think the risk of another vaccine is pretty great for me, though, because I reacted so poorly to dose 2. It was a full two months before I felt more or less back to baseline -- and the first 4 weeks were literally a non-stop migraine. That isn't only miserable, but it places a person at a much higher risk of stroke.

I don't have to travel, or go back to work in person. My highest risk right now is contact with my mom's caregivers and occasional visitors, which is unavoidable. Once she passes, I'll be able to stay somewhat isolated again, though I do have a roommate who is working in person.

There really is no easy answer to this. I hope between the 2 doses I did get, and my regular supplements and ivermectin, that I can avoid getting infected.

I surely won't judge anyone for making any personal choice regarding the vaxxes. I have friends who didn't get one at all, and friends who rushed out to get the booster, and I can see the reasoning for both decisions.

At the end of the day, being able to be with our loved ones is a very high priority, and we all need to make the decisions that will allow us to do that.

I think I have considered pretty much every possibility there is to consider. I have not ruled out that the vaxxes are either purposely or accidentally very harmful or fatal longterm. Honestly, if this is purposeful genocide, I don't want to surive to see what is left of the world after that.

I think it is far more likely that the vax damage was accidental or incidental, due to experimental technology being rolled out without truly robust testing. There seems to be an agenda to cover that up and deny the damage, which is pretty much par for the course for big pharma.

The frantic push to vax everyone, though, is very odd, considering that the vaxxes aren't stopping the spread.

Jazz... I'm really sorry to hear about your stepdad... I think you are probably safe, if it has been weeks since you have seen him, and hope he will be ok.

I'm doing my level best to avoid catching this damn thing. I haven't been wearing my mask at mom's house, because she wants to see and touch my face, and she's terribly hard of hearing, and the mask makes it worse. She has developed a lot of cognitive issues since her decline, which are normal in the dying. Taking my mask off means more exposure (not all of the caregivers are masked, for the same reasons I'm not.) That's a risk I am willing to take to be there for my dying mother. I wear a mask every other time I leave the house for any reason, and my roommates and I are all wearing kn94 or n95 masks. We are also all vaxxed, for better or worse.

I did see that Pierre Kory, one of the Ivermectin FLCCC gurus, caught Covid despite being on the iMask protocol. They are recommending upping the IVM dose to at least twice a week, but (for whatever reason) he was still doing once a week, and he caught it. It seems to have been a very mild case, though, and he seems to have recovered in a matter of days. I don't know if he's vaxxed, but I doubt it. A lot of that crowd has chosen to forego the vax.

I've been doing IVM twice a week for a while, and 3 times a week since I've been having exposure to people. My hope is that is enough to keep me from catching it, and if I do, that it will be mild and easily managed.

Yes, most of us need to work, and for many of us, that means working in person. That also means being vaccinated for most people, since most employers are requiring the vax.

I'm sure my already shoddy immune system is utterly crashed at this point, from all the stress. I'm doing the best I can, and have weighed my priorities. My mom is my number one priority, above my own health, and I want to do whatever I can to ease her anxiety at the end of her life.

I should be covered on both accounts. I am admittedly a proud horse-paste-muncher, and I still vape nicotine (though I no longer smoke.)

I know all too well what it is like to live with a compromised immune system, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Mine has been shot since a very ill-fated tick bite in 1988. It's a lot better than it once was, due to having Lyme treatment, and now doing a lot of herbs and supplements, and eating a crazy clean diet.

Covid seems to cause a lot of long-term immune problems for a good portion of people who get it. If the vax does, it is going to be a while before we really see that in large numbers. It certainly can cause problems for those of us who already have immune problems ... any vax can, which is why I generally don't get them.

Absolutely, you can! Our vaxxed Dept. Chair caught it from another vaxxed person, and actually got quite sick.

The one person within my close circle of people who has died from Covid was also double vaxxed (and young, and healthy.) She caught it from her 9 year old son, who caught it at school. She was a close friend of a friend of mine.

One thing that Ivermectin does very well is reduce viral load. In people who have caught Covid and treat early with Ivermectin, their viral load drops very quickly. I am presuming that those of us who are on it regularly are not only less likely to catch Covid at all, but also much less likely to spread it if we do catch it. I hope so, anyways.

Formally known as AY.4.2, the "delta plus" subvariant includes two new mutations to the spike protein, A222V and Y145H, which allow the virus to enter the body.

The AY.4.2 subvariant has been detected in at least five cases in the U.S.: in Washington, D.C., California, North Carolina, Washington state and Massachusetts.

Francois Balloux, director of the Genetics Institute at University College London, said it could be 10%-15% more contagious than delta.

If the stories about Uttar Pradesh are true, IVM does make it much less likely to spread the virus. How else would they end up covid-free or nearly so?

First, it means that the vaccine damages your immune system.
(You are less likely to respond to an infection by making broad-spectrum multi-epitope antibodies)

Second, natural immunity is indeed better.

Third... who knows what consequences there are down the line with ADE? This 'N' ab response, or lack thereof, seems to confirm Antgenic Sin.

"listen to your own instincts or inner voice." That has served me very well professionally. I am fortunate enough to be able to pick and choose my clients. After a couple of minutes into the first phone call or one on one meeting, I know if I want this person as a client. Subsequent monitoring of the clients I did not take invariably proved me right. I am sure many people can relate to that. Personally, meh. How many true friends do you really need?

Well this sucks, family friends in our neighborhood told us their daughter has tested positive due to close contact at school catching covid…and their son also separately has been exposed…they play with all the kids in the neighborhood…the family is now quarantined…but Halloween is just in time to spread everywhere…lights off this year…btw, all who tested positive were vaccinated…have to ask, only spread is from vaccinated to vaccinated….
