An extremely sad story.

Some interesting snippets in the piece though.

'Health experts believe the increase in young people catching coronavirus is tied to the British mutation. Genetic sequencing of several pregnant Israeli women revealed they were infected with the variant.'

'The country opened up vaccination to pregnant women last month after it became clear that the third wave of coronavirus is striking younger people.'

My question is, as an unvaccinated person is it safe to receive a blood transfusion from a mRna vaccinated person? What, if anything, will the mRna do to the cells of the unvaccinated person? Are there mRna cells present in blood?

I do have a sense of foreboding aswell. It just doesn't feel right to me to have much faith that a vax will be able to stop this rapidly mutating virus from having its way with us. I understand why vax might have worked in the past on certain viruses, but trying to control this particular type of virus, a coronavirus, with a vax with the view to there being a return to normality seems like a pipedream. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Each time a monster wave hit Europe on the last two occasions, the U.S. then followed on soon after. And in the past week or so Europe is once again heading to a bad place unfortunately.

Some honesty at last... we just don't know what will happen. Makes a change from what many politicians have been saying that there will be normality and we will be able to live with the virus.

All adults won't take it though, will they? I guess it's easier for Gov to find ways to sanction parents for not allowing their kid to have the vax than it is to sanction an adult for refusing the vax for themself.

The main reason they will give is the mutation issue. Kids can still catch and spread the virus to vaccinated adults, even if those vaccinated adults don't get the severe symptoms due to having had the vax. The more the virus spreads then there is that increased risk of a terrible mutation. It's been said that the preliminary vax data shows there is a reduction in transmission. Whether that is what actually happens outside of a trial is another matter. (Don't confuse it with immunity to infection itself because that immunity doesn't exist with this virus).

So the Gov will argue that the kids need to be vaxxed to help get the R number as near to 1, or below 1, as possible in the community, in order to reduce the chances of troubling new variants popping up.

Official reported UK cases for today are 10,641. Up nearly 1,000 on last Monday. This is the first officially recorded cases increase for the UK since the first week of January.

Advisers warn tens of thousands more will die of Covid-19 as lockdown eases

Even a gradual easing during the spring is likely to produce a peak on the scale of last month or last April because so many people remain susceptible, according to modelling by the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage).

Lifting all restrictions from the end of April would lead to a far bigger wave of hospital admissions than last month and some limits on social contact will be needed into the summer, the models suggest.

Sage told ministers last week that mask-wearing, avoiding crowds and contact tracing may be needed indefinitely to keep the virus under control.

This is one of the questions I have too. As I understand it, the mRNA causes your body to produce cells with the RNA fragment on/in them (don't attack me for me wording, I dont understand the science enough to teach it as such), thus, the blood in the transfusion has these spike proteins

So when your body sees them, does it attack them? What if they transfuse vacc'ed to vacc'ed, would the other vacc'ed persons body not see the spikes as something to attack (I dont know as its not a full virus)

Thing is, that is probably what they are using these "trials" for.

These "vaccines" never made it to human testing before as they always wiped out in animal testing.

Now they used the emergency authorization to bypass this so they can test these things out in humans and see what happens.

I lean toward it, if not being a BioWeapon per se, then definitely being a lab-created, or at least lab-heavily-modified virus. The way this thing is behaving (rate of mutation, apparently mutating to more lethal rather than less, etc) all set off alarm bells that this is not a "natural" virus...

I created this thread so there could be a place for covid news, views and discussion minus the trolling disruptions which was prevalent on the main thread. However, I've discovered there is another Covid thread that was created today, similarly pledging active moderation to this one. The new thread has absorbed a lot of the traffic from the old thread and will most likely become the main covid news/discussion thread and make my thread here redundant.

The reason for making this post is just to let y'all know that I will, for the time being, continue to moderate and post in this thread.
