CC2 on your theory with climates. we have been going down locally since the holidays. never saw a spike after them at all. note-they changed the testing back then.
are winter is coldest from JAN to March.#'s were going down not up. i do think ppl travel less and shop less. so i think there is more to the equation. i do think in theory cold would help it spread more. have not seen that in reality thou.

Then you had other states like Texas/California which saw a small uptick around that time, even if it wasn't really something that could be called a new wave. Maybe your area was one of those that saw a small uptick at that time also?
