I am confused... I think Canada and the US didn’t have a discussion.... US extends non-essential travel ban to Canada and Mexico through August 21 [ link to www.kcci.com (secure)] Doesn't mean a thing. It is easy to travel across the border. A friend has verified this as he visits family. He is a US citizen. They are not restricting enough traffic. Pretty much, this applies only to foreigners in the country. lol It doesn't matter. The variants are going to spread no matter what. I mean shit, they made it to Australia and New Zealand. Illegal southern border crossings are at the highest level in 20 years... 6,000 or so per day which is 4 times what was seen at this time last year. Who cares about some tested, vaccinated, and polite Canadians??? Didn't say they wouldn't spread. Just that this isn't some "Omigod! The border is still closed!" it really isn't. Except I think it is actually a bit harder to get into Canada from what I have read.
