Did I miss something, we were told breakthrough covid and spreading the virus was very rare, nearly impossible. Several months ago, they even said you cannot spread covid if vaccinated.

The government hasn't changed their tune since because they still want people to get vaccinated so that the hospitals don't get over-run. People are stupid, I think they've got a good plan. The data was shaky before. It wasn't officially a metric for the vaccine trails at any point.
