I have watched a few of his seminars and I have to say he is one evil motherfucker devoid any humanity.

In some of my posts in this thread, Rorschach Watchmen, I too made the distinction that chances are the now dead man more than likely heard the loud booms for knocks on his front door late at night. If this is indeed a bad neighborhood then chances are he correctly answered his door while armed. He quite possibly never heard anything beyond a muffled voice accompanying the loud booming knocks on his front door.

So if I were to be on the Jury of this specific court case I would easily rule in favor of the dead man and his family. Watching the second cop's camera body cam footage it is very clear the guy was never given ample warning about anything. He was shot and killed inside of literally one second. The first cop was as close to being a good cop as a modern cop can really become. He tried to loudly warn the guy something about putting the gun away or putting it down on the ground. He was rudely cut off by his amazingly blood thirsty trigger happy partner.

However, because both cops did not call for an ambulance as soon as possible afterwards both cops need to go prison for the rest of their lives or be on death row. The first cop murdered the guy. The second cop was a willing accomplice because he never rendered aid in any sort of way or ways. To me calling for an ambulance is a form of rendering aid. Especially if you are not a medical or healer type of individual.

YES. Don't answer it. Call 911 and ask if the people claiming to be cops really are.

Criminals that are armed with deadly force don't "bring humanity with them". Officers have to be prepared and expect the worst. Else they will orphan their children.

The best move is don't open the door, call 911, confirm they are officers, then open the door. Of course, with all the TRT abusing, crossfitting soy boys, you're likely to have them kickin' in your door whilst you're on the phone with dispatch.

The guy in Arizona (Tempe, I think) who was in the motel with an air soft rifle. Remember he was face down on the floor with that psychopath cop barking contradictory orders at him? He cried and begged for his life. That cop was prosecuted and the fucking jury acquitted him.

Eric Garner, Brooklyn, strangled over possibly selling individual cigarettes. Cop charged, jury acquitted.

Native American man and wood working artist, in Seattle. He's deaf. Walks down street, whittling a piece of wood, cops scream at him (from behind his back) to stop and drop the (pocket) knife. Because he couldn't hear, he didn't stop walking and they shot him in the back, killing him. No cop charged.

Homeless guy in New Mexico, sleeping outside of town, outdoors. Cops approach like soldiers hunting the Taliban, guy - about 50' away - is holding a knife so they kill him. Nobody charged.

Kelly Thomas, southern California. Schizophrenic but not violent. Cops tell him to sit on curb and he does. Then they start beating and kicking him as he screamed and called out for his father. That beating went on for 20 minutes. Five cops, IIRC. Kelly died the next day, so badly beaten he was unrecognizable. Cop got off.

Mother, in argument with teenage daughter in some parking lot. Dad calls cops. Cops arrive, kill dad. Nobody charged.

Video of handcuffed woman (maybe 110 lbs) arrested for drunk driving. In some room at police station she asked for her one phone call. Cops starts to rough her up (while she's handcuffed) and she demands he get his hands off her. Camera turns off then comes back on with her face down (still handcuffed) in a pool of blood because he beat the shit out of her. She lived, he was fired, no charges.

Young woman in holding cell. Peeks out OPEN door to ask cop in hallway a question and he slams her face into a cement bench. She lived, no charges for him.

SWAT team in Arizona (Phoenix, I think) goes to wrong house, early in the AM. Couple is sleeping. Wife wakes husband and says strangers are creeping around the bushes. Husband grabs firearm, cops break in their door and shoot over 80 times, killing him, an innocent man inside his own home. No charges for cops.

SWAT, or several cops, break into wrong house, again. Missouri, maybe. Terrified couple and their two little kids scared to death, lots of screaming. Cops shoot both of their dogs who IN THEIR CRATES. Nobody charged. So many other horrible similar events where cops shoots dogs. Most in their own yards or houses.

Those are just some of the videos I remember. Never mind the huge number of articles with the same stories, over and over again. Every fucking time we have these assholes jump on the threads and start defending the cops. It's like clockwork. They're as despicable as BLM and have the same black and white (no pun intended) thinking: all cops good or all cops bad stupidity. Extremists who are too stupid to see GRAY and simply oppose abuse and murder, no matter who the victim is and who did it. Fucking idiots.

Just make sure you STAY ON YOUR PROPERTY. That's where the victim messed up. If he had of stayed inside the door threshold he would probably still be with us.

There have been a lot of people murdered by cops in this country and it demands a major reform.

Well, when the North Hollywood Shootout went down where the cops were outgunned, from that one small incident alone, they were able to change the entire nations police force with more powerful weapons and many military toys thanks to the federal government.

So if they can change the police force across the nation from one incident, we can change it from hundreds of incidents where they are killing our loved ones and family members.

Recently, there have been attempts to reform the police in several cities and in every instance, the police unions stepped in and had all attempts crushed.

Not thin air. The guy was married but with a girlfriend. I am certain someone did not like that arrangement. Do you have any idea how quickly someone can fire upon another person? With a gun in their hand, it is a split second. Even with a gun in their holster it is a split second. DH shoots SASS shooting competition and I have done it once or twice. We are talking a fraction of a second to hit targets and that is with a gun holstered. You have no idea of how quickly a person with a gun can shoot someone. I said it was tragic but what would you have the police do? Wait to see if he fired upon the one officer? I fault the guy opening the door with a gun which in all training, they say do not have a gun unless you are prepared to fire it without hesitation and with the intent to kill (aiming for the largest area of mass) - not an arm or leg.

If the cop had shot him with a taser, the guy could have gotten off a shot. They had no idea what was in his mind - it was less than three seconds!

I also fault the police operator who knew it was unlikely a 'real' domestic violence situation and did not convey that to the officers.. Yet, still, even in that situation, the guy had a gun which he could have easily shoot within a fraction of a second.

Moral of the story: Having a gun is fine, but assume that whomever is on the other side of the door also has a gun. Ask who is there before blindly opening the door. Like I said, I don't think the guy meant harm to the police or anyone at the door. He meant to scare whomever was there - but he certainly misunderstood that reactions to guns is not 'Oh, he has a gun, I better retreat', you have a weapon drawn unless you assume you are going to fire it AND the police assumed this. Like I have said, it is tragic but I don't fault the police on this one.

He could have blown the one officer away if he was violent or high. It only takes a fraction of a second to fire!

Yes, I world expect them to have an ounce of discipline and bravery. How many open gun carriers in America? If at any time they can draw and fire (yes, it can be quick) means it's a life threatening situation for the cops .. Fuck you're going to have a lot of dead civilians.

One cop saw the gun - said hands and gave a second or two for a response from the subject. The response was to lower the gun to the ground while going to his knees.
The other officer opened fire.

In that moment of panic two people reacted rationally, one did not.
If you're that scared of being in danger, you should not be a police officer... especially in a country with so many lawfully armed citizens.

If he didn't know it was the police then he thought it was his neighbor that he had been arguing with about the noise and not some "invader and/or rapist".

If so then he came out of his apt. to threaten his neighbor with a gun because of a dispute about noise. Only a real asshole does that.
