Workers get a 7% raise going back to July 1.
Quoting: Festus Hoggbottom And who's going to pay for this 7% raise? Because I am sure my employer isn't going to fork out that raise. It's the tax cut he's been talking about. It won't cost anybody anything IF Congress will make it non-taxable. Pressure is on now. So what, the IRS is going to give me back 7 whopping % back to me from July 1st? That isnt shit compared to the $600 weekly unemployment. Especially since I've been working this whole damn time not making a dime more than before.  Everyone knows your right you know.Unless your job is the type that can not be replaced by robotics, you are one of the truly essential workers. I think anyone doing a full time 32-40 hour week at this point should all demand a 33% raise retroactive to April 1st. Especially minimum and low wage workers earning under $15 an hour. All call out until it is agreed. Let the bosses raise prices to cover it. At least that way it is fairer across the board.
