Workers get a 7% raise going back to July 1.
Quoting: Festus Hoggbottom And who's going to pay for this 7% raise? Because I am sure my employer isn't going to fork out that raise. It's the tax cut he's been talking about. It won't cost anybody anything IF Congress will make it non-taxable. Pressure is on now. So what, the IRS is going to give me back 7 whopping % back to me from July 1st? That isnt shit compared to the $600 weekly unemployment. Especially since I've been working this whole damn time not making a dime more than before.  Whatever. Call you reps. He's pushing the limit of what he can do through executive order. Congress are the ones who need to do something.
