1) Cube, 6 sides, got it
2) find centers on each side by drawing lines between the vertices on the faces, got it.
3) Now what. I think we have a single side with center found, and now the spaces between the vertices are bisected, and bisected again on all edges. The opposing points in all cases are connected?

I am not sure what is outside

4) Now we have... the cube unwrapped? Three contiguous faces, and the fourth face (called the "outside?) divided in two pieces, one at either end of the three? Then the "inside" is some oddly manifested expression of the top and bottom of the cube? I am not sure here.

5) 2d expression of the 3d cube at (approximately) the (2) angle?

6) I have no idea what this means.
