I have a story to tell. I’m a hairstylist. I get to know my clients pretty well. One day one of my clients ( in her early 70’s), gets to talking( I talk conspiracies sometimes with some of them). I try not to say too much so as to not sound kooky. AnywAy somehow she tells me her sister worked her whole career on Terminal Island( port of Los Angeles) at the base there. I feel like she said underground also. Anyway, she said her sister worked as the archivist for Admiral Byrd.

At this point I think she figured I wouldn’t know who that was because immediately I sId “THE ADM BYRD THAT FLEW TO THE Arctic?”

Her eyes bugged out then as if she said more than she should have, but she nodded yes. I then asked her if all the stories were true of his travels. I did not get specific, becAuse she seemed nervous. She answered me “ oh yes!”.

She stopped coming to me after that.

Her husband may have been in something secret too but it been several years since this happened, but I never forgot it! I find the arm Byrd story so fascinating!
