Most people get to Mount Sion (Hebrews:12) by dying. The ones in the other verse get there because they are immortals who lived through the fire that kills fallen angels.

If we look at the history of Christianity we find that the modern version of Christianity is completely based on Emperor Constantine (a sun worshiper till death) and his insane daughter who took it upon herself to change the Bible to get rid of the ideas of reincarnation so she would t have to be reincarnated for the massive amount of Christians she killed.
The remnants of that made up religion became the Catholic Church (which we all know worships Lucifer and his mother) and all versions of Christianity today are based upon these ideals.
So looking at it from that perspective, revelations has a ship with a “god” coming down to rule over the earth after it’s been cleansed of the non believers (people that don’t worship Lucifer or whatever alien being is claiming to be him.)
I think when you go back to the time of Sumer (the birthplace of modern western religion) and then fast forward to Babylon, you will see where all three monotheistic western religions were born from and why you should free yourself from the shackles of religious control and find the true I AM in your heart and soul. Religion is control. Freedom is having a personal relationship between you and what we would consider god. (Who is actually you as well, hence the I AM Jesus and even Buddha talked about.
I am not claiming this as the whole truth but it’s probably a lot closer than anything a controlling ego based god and his minions on earth will ever tell you.
Tell a great enough lie and people will believe it as the truth!
