Just as an FYI -- read the book "Bitten". Govts have been experimenting with tick-borne diseases for over 60 years.

It's disgusting. They collect these ticks from around the world and keep them in jars. They'll even air drop them from planes by the millions to "test" how they spread and what effects they have on wildlife.
