CatV Chimp-out in Chicongo

So I get up this morning to start the work week and fire up the tube to catch the news.

What do my eyes behold? CatV Chimp-Out in Chicongo. Looting along Michigan Avenue. All going down live on the early morning news.

From the sounds of it police confronted a BLACK male in an alley. BLACK produced a handgun and was shot by police. So far sounds like a righteous shoot. I guess the mob isn't too happy about having to follow the rule of law and decides to chimp-out. Looting the recovering Mag Mile.

Chicongo police are currently condoning off the downtown area. Getting in or out of the downtown area is going to be tough sledding for anyone. CTA has suspended bus/train service going in and out of the area.

Police are doing their best to curtail the mayhem. They're heavily outnumbered.

I work for a utility company here in the city and have been watching the repairs. They have been slow going and the area was just getting back to some semblance of normalcy.

I wonder where the community leaders are to decry this chaos? I wonder what their response to this will be? I wonder what will happen to the .as abiding in the area? This area was devastated by the looting and rioting in June and as I said; was just beginning to recover. Sadly, I believe many of these businesses will be pulling out never to return.

There goes your tax base, Larry Lightweight. What are you going to do about it?
