WTF....Plywood shortage?!?!?!

They have a labor problem because your wages are so low, here they want to pay 12$ hr. No thanks

Went to warehouse club to stock up pop for work. They were out of most types of pop, said it's because of an aluminum shortage.

I saw house being raised using particle board. nuff said.

Shortage won't last, once people are back to the office they won't have time to redo the deck anymore. Literally every house in my area is getting some type of repair. Home depot here has plenty of wood though.

Just paid $25 per 1/4" sheet of masonite, 1/4" oak plywood was $56 a sheet.

We don't have a shortage here in far northern California but it's expensive as he'll.

All the plywood was bought up for boarding up stores.

i ordered 25 pressure treated 2x8's from home depot in may. It was backordered but finally received last week.

Everyone is at home doing repairs. What do you think is happening.

Not to mention the wire shortage also. Shits getting crazy.

Just go to the market and the European Seedless cukes are about $1.50. Takes 1-1/2 to slice and make a quart of B&B pickles.

Just get the Mrs Wages pre-mix and you're good to go.

You can even sell them and make some extra scratch

Folks that work for producing products have been sidelined with the COVID "duck and cover" drill we are currently in worldwide for the last 6 months or so. Practically everything will be in short supply, makes me think there is more going on here than we currently understand.

Here in the northeast we had about a 2 month shortage of pressure treated wood. I think most of these facilities relied on one mega supplier who shutdown due to virus and employees and has big arse backlogs now
