The anchor doesn't understand medicine. By the way, there are not 'coroners in every county'. There are certified medical examiners and they are not board-certified in pathology, nor are they 'coroners' like most people think. Often they are board-certified in Emergency, Family, or Internal Medicine.

They are elevating the numbers for certain because there are many, many, many liberal physicians.

The biker could have mentioned how hospitals get more reimbursement if they have a covid patient or a covid death than otherwise, and that this would promote common behavior without all of the coroners getting in a room etc. But this really wasn't necessary. Biker won that anyway.

In fact many counties have morticians acting as medical examiners and they arent taught forensics, medicine or for that matter paid enough to care to take their time away from their other job.
