I'm self employed, and I have lost a longtime client (he will probably go bankrupt), did not get work from a new client (he is just hanging on) and will probably lose my last client this fall. And since the sector I work in will be the last to return, I'm screwed. You guys are lucky. I would love to be working in my field.

As for a lock down, it's a virus. They can lock down forever, and once people get out and about, it will re-appear.

If you have the common cold, you will test positive for the Corona virus. Corona is a cold virus. Theres over 2k variations of Corona

Thats why there are so many postive tests. Millions have colds at any time. I just got over one and yes occasionaly people die from colds from secondary infections

Meanwhile, new cases yesterday were the lowest since July 5th.

The poor have been getting very generous corona EBT food stamps during the pandemic. I doubt they are unhappy. AVG 1-2k per family. The grocery store was packed today, more than double once the Corona benefits were stacked on last week.

And then the unemployment extension. 400 a week on top of the usual. They will get by ok as well
