Because AIDS isn't a freaking virus. AIDS is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. A disease caused by something that supresses ones immune system.

A human can be a HIV carrier for many years and not have symptoms. They don't fear monger HIV like coronavirus.

I work with EMS folks. It’s never been disproven that mosquitoes can’t transmit HIV. There’s some evidence it can actually happen.
