I'm not a flat Earth believer, but globe Earth believers have never been able to convince me of their claims, so I became a globe Earth ignorer. (Teachers got angry about my questions when they couldn't answer them, and I knew that was always the sign of a liar, so I knew they were lying, but there was no understanding why.

I was relieved when I was a teenager, reading Sherlock Holmes, and he explained that the heliocentric theory was irrelevant to his life, so he ignored it. It became my strategy for dealing with countless lies and theories presented as facts.

The world is chock full of fools believing things they can't prove and never even bothered to question. At least flat earth "believers" are asking questions.

The only time i feel the earth in motion is when i drink vodka. For fuck's sake... If you want to prove/disprove a concept such as this, use established physics, namely the conservation of angular momentum. Put a spinning gyro on gimbals on all 3 axes. Put a camera watching it for 24 hours & see if its axis appears to rotate. If so, congratulations, you've proven ball Earth. If not, you may have some flatness to contend with.

A really good round earth proof is spherical trigonometry.

There is less than nothing to flat Earth. Everything we see and do on a daily basis proves that.

As does the fact that all the equations and map scaling only work right if earth is a sphere.

And then there's seismology. Flerfs hate it when you bring up seismology because it very clearly shows earth is spherical.

Flat Earth was invented purely to distract from the obvious moon landing hoax. Limited time hangout that works like a charm. So we don’t have to think about how nasa screwed over America.

You can also use a Foucault's pendulum experiment to show earth is round even easier.

It will visually show you not only the 15 degree per hour drift but also you can pretty accurately calculate your longitudinal position on Earth with it.

It works I've done it.

Also, for flat Earth to be even remotely plausible both gravity and relativity have to function in a way entirely different from the way they actually do.

P.s. don't get sucked in by the airplane gyroscope/ you must point the nose of an airplane down to stay at the same altitude bullshit. The way they tell it is flagrantly wrong and an outright lie. Airplane mechanical gyroscopes have always had a pendulous vane self correction mechanism In them.

The rest of the point the nose down assertion relies on their dishonesty about scale gravity and what the term level Actually means.

In terms of on Earth levels actual definition is conforming to Earth's curvature.

Also no matter where you go down is always down because gravity attracts yourself and objects towards the center of earth.

Finally, In order to get one degree worth of angular change you must travel approximately 69 miles.
