the current issue has besides articles on ISIS and Al Qaida and European JIhadi prisoners an article on QAnon so QAnon is taken seriously by the US Military and is in good company ...

Abstract: The QAnon conspiracy theory, which emerged in 2017, has quickly risen to prominence in the United States. A survey of cases of individuals who have allegedly or apparently been radicalized to criminal acts with a nexus to violence by QAnon, including one case that saw a guilty plea on a terrorism charge, makes clear that QAnon represents a public security threat with the potential in the future to become a more impactful domestic terror threat. This is true especially given that conspiracy theories have a track record of propelling terrorist violence elsewhere in the West as well as QAnon’s more recent influence on mainstream political discourse."

Military Intelligence at its finest. It's gotta be said though that the review clearly overstates the potential domestic terrorism threat presented by QAnon and the authors do not seem to clearly understand what QAnon is about.

Q's obscure "imageboard" is ridden with pornographic content including pedo and beastiality material and also infested by anti semitic neo-Nazi rhetoric, but the people inhabiting it are mostly "autists" in.cels and other dysfunctional teens without much life outside the 'Net ...

and the visible part of the Qanon, the böömers indulging in the online social media play acting or "Larping" are content to keep tweeting and retweeting, they are "trusting the plan" it's counter to their belief system to be active ... as a rule they are a nuisance at most unless one counts the occasional cyberstalking, cyber harrassing which is why there is every now and then mass purges in social media after the disciples target a celebrity and start to post "Q sent me! u a pedo" or stuff like that

But it's not surprising that the military intelligence exaggerates the QAnon threat because in general the funding gets bigger if the threats are perceived bigger ...
