Cotton was a big part of the economy. But anyone could do the labor. It took Europeans to organize that labor. Yankee merchants kept bringing slaves to our shores for sale which lead to Africans being used for a lot of work that would otherwise have been performed by Europeans.

It’s not a conversation. There is not going to be a conversation. The side that agrees with systemic racism against Whites and Orientals can’t have conversations and won’t be persuaded. I wished it didn’t have to be this way, but fixing this won’t happened through dialogue.

I've recently spoken with several people of color...blacks, Latinas, Latinos and a couple Asians. Every person has expressed to me in their own words I'm paraphrasing that they believe people associated with BLM are thugs looking for handouts and an excuse to be violent.

I'm in a large, democrat-run metro city in TX, and the people with whom I've spoken were postal workers, ATT techs, a WalMart employee, a doctor, construction guys, a couple other trades people who were currently unemployed, several retired, an eye doctor, and two professionals. A nice cross-section of professions.

Each person shook their heads and made remarks referring to "unappreciative youth", and several stated that these people needed a good old fashion ass whoopin' and to be taught about picking yourself up.
