I scan the outs in my store twice a week and the on hands are correct they are at 0 with none coming in. Most of the canned meats soups canned veggies cleaning supplies hba and so on. I can't do any add-on order either my HHT restricts me from doing that. I've noticed salmon is in abundance at grocery stores. I think it was originally going to restaurants that are either closed or partially operating, so without the demand, they sold it elsewhere. Much of it is being sold at a decent price. Also have seen a lot of institutional size boxes/tins of food. Was surprised to see Panera products -- maybe it was bread? -- being sold in the local grocery. Figured that too much had been made for Panera so had to sell it elsewhere. You never know what products are going to turn up in the stores now and what will be missing, so I buy our usual food items when I see them, even if I don't have an immediate need for them. Have to give Walmart credit for finding decent replacements for the usual items. |

Every order I have done has had a few substitutions, but hardly ever do I not get what I want whether substituted or not. The last order I did, I didn't get my zinc though. Luckily we have a Wegmans that stays open till 11PM but much pricier. |

No Root Beer, either. The cleaning supply aisle is almost empty. My son works at a chain restaurant, and he has been seeing a meat shortage all summer. We bought hamburger meat that was inedible. Last week, I ordered curbside from Publix, many items that were listed were actually unavailable. I always look for any type of antibacterial solution, but it hasn't been stocked since March. Certain meds, both OTC and Rx must be ordered, such as anti-nausea pills. Junk food is plentiful. Rice is available. TP has been available for a while. Tinned vegetables are hit or miss. My own garden has been a disappointment, but I will plant greens in the fall. Wishing everyone all the best. |
