Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26094563 Perhaps, that's why I titled the thread "I believe" instead of "I was Given". Either way to title your post it doesn't change the fact that your dream was just some hum-drum storm dream that has nothing to do with G-d. It's like saying I had a dream about puppies, woke up, a certain verse came to my head, must be G-d. Silly. If you had woken with lyrics from a song would you attribute your dream to the singer? Silly. I disagree! I awoke one night not able to breathe. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't draw in any air. I felt as if I was going to lose consciousness and knew I needed to pray. I didn't have time to pray yet knew I needed to. Then, I started breathing again! Words then popped into my mind saying that God knows what you need before you ask Him. I looked it up and those words are recorded in Matthew 6:8 for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Whatever your opinion, I believe that message came from God, even if the words were from the New Testament and not the Old Testament. All I know is I couldn't breathe, needed to pray, and then I was able to breathe again! You're entitled to agree, but it sound like your were suffering from sleep paralysis and thinking about the verses from the NT relaxed you enough. Nothing to do with G-d, just your own human mind grasping for what it knew. The human mind is a powerful thing! Glad you survived! Oh but you're wrong! I wasn't thinking about any verses at all. All I knew is I was in serious trouble and needed to pray and ask God for help. After it was all over with and I could breathe again, that's when the verse came into my mind. I didn't even know for certain it was from the Bible until I looked for it! There was another time I woke from sleep because I needed to go to the bathroom. When I sat up, a terrible dizziness came over me. I was so dizzy I just knew I'd probably fall over if I were to try and stand. I called out aloud to God for help. Then, I felt a hand on my shoulder and the dizziness immediately left me. Since I was alone in the house at the time, there was no way it could've been the hand of a person. I then was able to make it to the bathroom and haven't experienced any more dizzy spells like that since. That, I believe, was an answer to my call to God for help. So, you say it has nothing to do with God? Well, I believe it's the God of the Bible helping me out. If I'm wrong and it's some other God, I'm gonna stick with this One. This One answers prayers, even when there's no time to say a prayer, and has been there for me on numerous occasions over the years. It's so comforting to know when no other help is available, I can count on Him to be there for me. Thanks be to God!! |

The god you are speaking of isn't G-d. We know this because you are adding to G-d by believing in Jesus. The deception and lies of the Church are very convincing. Not that I know exactly what you believe, but based on your posts and nominal Christianity, no you aren't praying to the G-d of Avraham, Yitzac, or Israel. You think you are because you have been told that you are. But in reality you are breaking the first commandment by adding another god to G-d. Someday the whole world will know the truth of the True G-d without having to be taught by others and there will be universal peace; both of which will happen when the true Messiah comes. |

If you would even crack open a my, and if you read nothing but Jesus' words in red, you would perceive that His words are straight from the Torah. Anonymous Coward User ID: 77441034 United States 08/12/2020 02:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am 32, this may or may not be important to some of you. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26094563 I believe I just recieved a Dream from the Lord. I've been repenting of my habitual sins successfully (glory be to God) and seeking his face. I dreamt: A storm is rumbling in the distance and the house is groaning from the wind. I check my Phone to see pop up storms not just growing in my area but all accross the Nation. I get up and am disoriented needing the railing to get to Dads room. I tell him, "I'm going to the Basement, this storm is getting bad." He replies "Have fun!" in a distant way from the darkness. I do not argue with him instead I leave him and head downstairs where I find the Porch sliding glass door open wide. As I go to close this door I stop to look out into the storm. It is dark, the Wind is strong and the rain hits my face. When I close the door it only partailly holds back the storm. I am now certain the house will not withstand the storm as it instantly grows stronger. I hurry for the basement, as I grab the door it resists my opening. I wrestle it open and closes against me, pushing me back with a gentle yet urging force. This feels odd for a door. I eventually manage to slide past the door and down some steps when Now arms reach out from where the door is and grab me by my robe (I am now aware in this instance that I am in fact wearing a robe as the cloth is pulled tight against me when the fist balls it up) and I am thrown out of the Basement. When I wake up all that came to mind was John 10:7 "Verily, verily I say unto you I am the door of the sheep." And shame for not having tried harder to save Dad. Dreamtard. |
