WINK IZ BWOCKED ON GLP [ link to imgur.com (secure)] The drive-by shooting occurred around 4:30 p.m. Sunday while a group was having a picnic in the Byers & Pecos Park in the 1400 block of West Byers Place. There were also people shooting a music video there at the same time, Pazen said.
A 3-year-old girl, 11-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy were shot, along with three 17-year-olds. The adults who were shot include a 27-year-old woman, 19-year-old man and 22-year-old man. Another 22-year-old man was struck by the car as he fled. The nine people shot brings the city’s total number of people injured, but not killed, in shootings so far this year to 129, as of Tuesday — more than recorded in the same time period the previous two years. The city is also on track to see the highest number of homicides in the past decade. The incident also marked the fourth mass shooting in Denver this year — all since June. |

They never cover black on black mass shootings like that if it was a white person that did it it did over the news 24 hours a day 7 days a week for 3 months
