There is a massive sunspot on the Sun which can shoot solar flares towards Earth. The sunspot named AR2770 is expected to grow in size and cause eruptions, The Indian Express reported. According to the report, the sunspot with an expected diameter of 50,000 kilometers is likely to release a huge amount of energy that will lead to solar flares and storms. It is to note that this phenomenon is known as Coronal Mass Ejections (CME) which impacts radio waves and satellite communications. Usually, the same spot has emitted solar flares but they were minor but this one is expected to be a massive one.
