As for live trees, they're great trees for the yard.

Fast growing, easy to care for, and extremely long living. They make delicious olives, too.

I was surprised to learn that they grow well in North Florida.

I thought that too until all of mine froze nearly to death last winter when NW FL got down to 14f for 3 nights in a row.

Most came back from root, but years of growth above ground couldn't handle that cold.
