Radio telescope larger than the earth....
Why haven't they done it already. Exospheric Orbiting Radar Telescopes that connect and synch up to create a "dish" larger than the earth. Doesn't take a genius to figure this kind of shit out. Like Zane in that movie "The Arrival" (1996, HIV-Tigerblood Carlos Estevez) did using cable satellites around the town he hooks them up to make a miniature version of the one's SETi made to pick up THE SIGNAL.
