Pretended to be Israels friend when he was stabbing them in the back and the press and foreigners just loved him. I don't think anyone likes the beast or it would be called something else. I've thought for a long time that MAYBE "the beast" is technology. A non-human entity that we have work for us like a slave, but which can also be brutally, but unemotionally, destructive to us. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79156579 How does that make sense? Palestine and West Bank are not part of UAE! This is flimflam smoke and mirrors. Why not sign an agreement between.. I don't know... Israel and Palestine? palestine never existed. it was a british territory and was called "the vilayet of beirut" for 500 years, under the ottoman turkish empire. world war one ended the ottoman empire. the hebrew peoples had been emigrating back to their biblical homeland since the 1600's in 1918, britain named the region "palestine, e.i." which appeared on all it's money, stamps and official documents. "e.i." reads "eretz isrel," or "state of israel, region of palestine. the hebrews were colonizing their homeland since the 1600's. "petah tikvah" was a town created by the hebrews in the 1700's. the ottomans hated this and started importing muslims in from all the surrounding territories, arabia, egypt, iraq, etc. they were just arabs, they were never referred to as "palestinians," that is complete and utter fake news. the "flag" of palestine, in 1939 had a hebrew star of david on it, look it up. the 1939 "palestine football league" was all HEBREW J.'s, not one arab, not one muslim on the squad. palestinian meant 'j.--.ish, not arab, at any time until 1968. the hebrews created tel aviv in 1909 on sand dunes |

According to biblical tradition (Deuteronomy 2:23; Jeremiah 47:4), the Philistines came from Caphtor (possibly Crete, although there is no archaeological evidence of a Philistine occupation of the island). The first records of the Philistines are inscriptions and reliefs in the mortuary temple of Ramses III at Madinat Habu, where they appear under the name prst, as one of the Sea Peoples that invaded Egypt about 1190 BCE after ravaging Anatolia, Cyprus, and Syria. After being repulsed by the Egyptians, they settled—possibly with Egypt’s permission—on the coastal plain of Palestine from Joppa (modern Tel Aviv–Yafo) southward to Gaza. The area contained the five cities (the Pentapolis) of the Philistine confederacy (Gaza, Ashkelon [Ascalon], Ashdod, Gath, and Ekron) and was known as Philistia, or the Land of the Philistines. It was from this designation that the whole of the country was later called Palestine by the Greeks. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77049236 Belize 08/13/2020 02:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Israel agrees to SUSPEND "annexation" of it's own historic homeland, "Judea," from the Bible Quoting: JERUSALEM POST 78705406 50% [link to www.jpost.com (secure)] Israel and the United Arab Emirates reached a historic peace deal on Thursday that will lead to a full normalization of diplomatic relations between the two Middle Eastern nations in an agreement that US President Donald Trump helped broker. Under the agreement, Israel has agreed to suspend applying sovereignty to areas of the West Bank that it has been discussing annexing, senior White House officials told Reuters. The peace deal was the product of lengthy discussions between Israel, the UAE and the United States that accelerated recently, White House officials said. The agreement was sealed in a phone call on Thursday between Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed, crown prince of Abu Dhabi, who said in a statement that Israel had agreed to stop annexation and that in exchange the UAE and Israel "agreed to cooperation and setting a roadmap towards establishing a bilateral relationship." US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, who was in the White House on Thursday, said that "the normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE will make Israel stronger and safer and will likely lead to additional exciting opportunities and incremental prosperity for Israel, its neighbors and the entire region." The officials described the agreement, to be known as the Abraham Accords, as the first of its kind since Israel and Jordan signed a peace treaty in 1994. It also gives Trump a foreign policy success as he seeks re-election on November 3. White House officials said Trump senior adviser Jared Kushner, US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Middle East envoy Avi Berkowitz were deeply involved in negotiating the deal, as well as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and White House national security adviser Robert O'Brien. A joint statement issued by the three nations said the three leaders had "agreed to the full normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates." "This historic diplomatic breakthrough will advance peace in the Middle East region and is a testament to the bold diplomacy and vision of the three leaders and the courage of the United Arab Emirates and Israel to chart a new path that will unlock the great potential in the region," the statement said. |

Possessing superior arms and military organization, the Philistines were able (c. 1050 BCE) to occupy part of the Judaean hill country. The Philistines’ local monopoly on smithing iron (I Samuel 13:19), a skill they probably acquired in Anatolia, was likely a factor in their military dominance during this period. They were finally defeated by the Israelite king David (10th century), and thereafter their history was that of individual cities rather than of a people. After the division of Judah and Israel (10th century), the Philistines regained their independence and often engaged in border battles with those kingdoms. So Israelitis are basically aggressors and strangers there, the Phillistines/Palestinians are native people |

Quoting: Tekton It was not "annexation". It was extension of Israeli civil law to PART of Judea and Samaria. Lots of people said the same as you just said when the USA recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Barely a peep was heard. The Arabs did nothing. |
