You can believe what you want, but your obvious disdain for people of faith, that choose faith and worship, is plain to see.

Some people value things diffently than you, they should be allowed their choice, same as you, with no predjudice or bias.

If people can gather and protest, if state funerals can be held in a church, people should be able to gather and worship God if they choose to do so.

They are all taking a risk with the virus, but you can't glorify protests and looting and deny people church.

For one thing, Sweden never locked down and their rates of illness and deaths are not so much higher than they are for surrounding Northern Euro countries that did shutdown. Plus their economy hasn't been trashed leading to way more despair, hardship and suffering.

For another things, studies of mask wearing have shown it's way less effective than the Karens of society have assumed or believed.

Ultimately, I don't mind giving people like you some slack if you've at least not been dumbass liberals/leftists in general when it comes to other issues and public figures.

Im not promoting anything, I'm saying people have a choice.

You step outside your house, to go to the grocery, or get a haircut, maybe join a huge protest gathering, attend a state funerals, you are exercising your choice.

You take a risk either way.

You jump in a car to drive around, you are making a choice and risking death.

These people have determined they will risk it to worship God, the same way people make a choice to attend a large protest and the risks that come with it.

Why is it the media and politicians demonize one and worship the other?

There's a such thing as holy places and this goes back even before Christ was born. Sure you can still pray at home, but God asks one day a week of us for worship at church.

Yea, and a lot of policymakers, public officials and other opinion makers throughout the world have said for several years that we humans should cutback on the niceties of life in order to stop climate change!!!, originally "global warming!!!"

Wrong for many reasons.
1. Grace Community Church, John's church is not hurting for money. They are set and 1 word from John that they weren't and they would be taken care of.

2. Most churches, including mine and every other pastor I've spoken with took in more money while shutdown than they normally would have. The 3 months we were shut down our offerings we up significantly.

I can say unequivocally that this gathering is not about money. It's about fulfilling God's mandate of fellowship. Hebrews 10:24

Hardly surprising, therefore, that they accuse their opponents of what motivates them in their own life. Or aspects of Hillary/Clinton-Foundation-ism, Barack-fancy-summer-house-in-Martha's-Vineyard-ism.
