Yeah, but when I lived in LA I worked in the film industry for a short while.
When you're getting going in it you take all gigs. You are called on show offers from production managers etc and you take the gigs because there are so many people looking for work and you need the cash to exist out there, and you're trying to break in.
Just because he worked on some films you don't dig or find sketchy in their content doesn't mean he wrote them, or agreed with the content. It's a gig at first.
It sounds like he got hip and now is speaking out. He even says that 3 years ago he'd have said it was all bullshit.
I dig the message and I believe him. He got to the point of figuring it all out. I personally quit because I just could not stand the gross ass egos in the film industry.
I told an art director to fuck off and walked off the set after the bitch cussed me out in front of the whole crew. Never went back to it. She was just one out of many fucking assholes in that biz.
