I am 55.

This event was almost twenty years before my birth.

But I can see how it was important in creating the world I was born in, during the Cold War.

"Tell 'em what they won, Bob!"

:bobdobbs:

We didn't gain jack shit from WWI. I know that. My grandfather did serve in the navy at the tail end.

I think that war was purely between the colonial and imperial master classes on both sides.

As for WWII, as I said, I think what Patton said had some truth.

In a way, we fought the wrong enemy.

interesting how the framework for modern Israel were already placed into order already in 1917 with the Balfour Declaration [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

shows you basically what all the WWs were all about

WW1 was also all attack on Germany to not become an empire, you remember how Germans were about to build a railway from Berlin to Baghdad, but that wasn't in the interest of the British Zionists

Germany apologized, we moved on, and done.
Italy apologizes, we moved on, and done.

But BLM keeps on wanting more and more.

in every country, most of people are hard working, honest peasants

depends if these jws are of Talmud teachings or not, then that's a whole another story

in Talmud it's written that the tribe should not help the Christian even if he's in a death threat, only way, possibility to help him is that if he's doing his own demise and death, then you can help him

we surely don't need such people on planet earth

they're no different than the jihadist islamists

Yes, a day worth reflecting on. These last few weeks have seen a few 75th's worth noting.
It turns out that the scourge of nuclear technology and the dishonorable way we ended the war continue to haunt us to this day.

VJ Day

In the new world order that was created in the wake of WWII, there were two new superpowers that dominated the earth, the US and the Soviet Union.

The British Empire, though the UK did win the war along with the Soviet Union and America, was on its way out with many of its former colonies becoming independent.

A new era in world history began.

Hirohito surrendered and capitulated, ordered his troops not to fight on August 15th
