While Twitter diligently bans political opinions they don't like, they don't seem to be doing much about pedos blatantly trading and sharing illegal and graphic material on their platform. This is out in the open, and yet some radicals on the left are trying to suppress this information by comparing it to "pizzagate conspiracy theories" and "far-right dog whistling." There's no need to read between the lines or try to interpret vague symbolism cryptically added to messages here, this filth is blatantly out in the open, and those participating in it aren't even trying to deny it. It needs to be stopped and those participating in it need to be charged.

Several large accounts on twitter have been found, and I have deployed a bot that is starting to scrape their network of tweets, retweets and replies. It uses a machine learning algorithm to recognize potentially illegal material; posts containing that material are flagged and compiled into lists that are being forwarded to law enforcement. And no, before someone tries to suggest that what I'm doing is illegal, the bot does not retain any of the images, it simply emails links to the illegal material so that it can be passed on to law enforcement.

Wow. Much love, but be careful there was someone on Twitter trying to gather and report, but maybe they didn't just save links, he was arrested and released later, but whatever happened he sadly stopped his fight.

I have a very serious question, despite the AC state. Tumblr tried this very thing - it resulted in so many false positives, their algorithm for it was terrible. Unfortunately, they also gave it the power to immediately take down posts it identified and issue warnings, and it resulted in such a mass exodus from the platform that it's now fighting for it's life.

Do you have any particular method to guard against false positives?

Can you give some citations for this? I am trying to take all reasonable precautions so that if they decide to come after me it will be clear to any jury that I'm the hero in this situation. I'm not storing any images I'm not even looking at the links, this is all being done by an automated algorithm, and it's only looking at what is publicly visible on Twitter. If they really want to say that links to Twitter are illegal and try to put me in jail for it then they should be putting in jail anyone who links to Twitter at all.

How do you know these aren't shill accounts to catch the low hanging fruit?

Some probably are. Doesn't matter to me, some of them are openly posting CP.
