User ID: 77999704 Canada 08/14/2020 08:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We pay USD $7500 a year to rent a 3 bedroom apartment on the upper floor of an up-down duplex. We have a beautiful view on all 4 sides of the Fraser river cutbanks, the Nechako river cutbanks, and the Cariboo Mountains. Income and sales taxes are higher in Canada, but property taxes are lower. Almost every province has two parts, a densely populated strip along the American border and a vast area of wilderness, small towns, native reserves and frontier outposts to the north. The south is a socialist nightmare. The north isn't bad. It's ideal bug-out country. Still a land of opportunity. |

Next to impossible to get ahead when everything is taxed so heavily. Health care is joke, particularly during this so called “pandemic”. I’m terrified to send my kids back to school under emergency orders which basically means they can do whatever they want with no accountability. All I want to do is pack up my family and move to another country but frankly I don’t know where is better. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78035237 My family is preparing to emigrate to Poland or Ukraine in the next 10 years. We're saving up now, getting prepared to leave this country for a more promising future for my kids. That is sad considering 40 or 50 years ago someone from poland would be coming here.. Our country is super fucked. The land is beautiful, untapped resources all around but the government stifles industry and private development beyond normal.. Liberals have fucked this country into the ground.. If you haven’t figured it out, libs siphon off any bleeding heart for their masters and common folk like you loose every time. Spending like a school girl at the mall and then tax the living shit out of the middle class to get more money to line their fat ass pockets. You tell me one social system the liberals ever came up with that actually work as it was intended. Yet every election year the same song and dance, with never promising to fill. People are flipping tarded to keep voting for their own demise. Your government sold you out long ago to highest bidder and your going to need to pay. Ohh don’t worry we have the same shit trying to rear it’s head here in the States, Socialism is right around the corner if people don’t think straight, sorta sad what libs do, all in the name of good faith. We're even selling hydroelectricity to the USA for ~7 cents/kwh while selling it to Canadians for 10+ cents/kwh. Every societal institution is broken. None of them actually serve their proclaimed intended purpose. It is full societal collapse. I dont know much about windmills and will be voting Derek sloan. But those rent prices he stated are not a canada wide problem. Im in british columbia and im at 15k a year on my mortgage my brother pays 800 month rent in an apartment. "30-40 k per year is an average for a small apartment anywhere in Canada now." yeah ok.... Embrace the cognitive dissonance. |

Yep, dishonest, illogical, unethical, mean-hearted, misery-inducing liberalism is a universal plague. I can think of few conservative/rightwing counterparts to liberal/leftwing hosebag cities like San Francisco, Baltimore, New York, Detroit, St Louis, Portland, Montreal, Philadelphia. Or conservative counterparts to states like Illinois, California, Michigan, Washington, Massachusetts. Or their political parallels in Canada. Just about every place that is full of chaos, corruption, deprivation, decadence and inhumanity are all of the left, not right. Certain parts of the Middle East, however, might be defined by some people as pro-Muslim reactionary or Islamic rightwing. But even there, it's mainly liberals in the West who give slack to such pro-Sharia places, not Western sociopolitical conservatives. I certainly do not know of one rightwing version of a Venezuela, Mexico, South Africa, France, China, North Korea. |

As recently as 15-20 years ago, Canada was mostly white, and non-white immigration was minimal. Canada is on track to being less than 50% white in a couple decades, maybe sooner. That kind of thing doesn’t happen historically, except for invasions and/or genocides. Canadians need to wake the fuck up. Start calling a spade a spade. In the next 10 years no more Poland and no more Ukraine. So better go now and don't wait for your pension. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75774026 That’s funny. More like no more Canada in the next 10 years, considering it’s fast becoming a third world, Muslim shithole. Eastern Europe will be fine, considering that it’s mostly white, zero immigrants, and many of the countries there even have great economies in recent years. Care to tell me what crystal ball bullshit you think you’re referring to, when you say that there won’t be a Poland or Ukraine in 10 years? The likely candidate for not existing soon is Canada, not parts of Eastern Europe. Last Edited by dsp771 on 08/14/2020 11:20 PM |

Quoting: dsp771 Demographics alone won't save any country if too many of its people end up favoring slimeball liberalism and scumbag liberals. Look at Eastern Europe when it was part of the hard-left, ultra-liberal Soviet bloc. However, I will admit that when leftwing social, political, economic dynamics are pushed on a people and place, the demographics had better be damn naturally stable, responsible, resourceful, talented and humane. Or else such a nation will go down the leftwing toilet even faster, quicker, meaner and harder. Nonetheless, the hard-hearted, misery-laden, ultra-liberal Soviet Union did manage a fairly impressive space program, TASS. But everything else about that hard-left society was shit. |
