Could it really be THIS EASY to end the VOTING DEBACLE?

Could it really this simple - and if not, what are your supporting arguments as to why not?

Issue every existing and newly registered voter a Personal ID# (similar to SSN or TaxID# OR DL#). This process IS possible and should be easy to administer as it is done on a daily basis around the country for services listed in parenthesis - and said numbers/code are not ever duplicated.

Citizens who are currently not registered - or like many, don't wish to participate in the identifying with either party, but still want their voice to be heard - can have said PersonalID # given to them during a separate registration process -

Separate Registration Process: For those looking to acquire a new ID/Code - this can be done either by logging onto a dedicated website or by calling in to a dedicated service line. Certain information would need to be provided of course to ensure no duplicity, ensuring that there isn't fraud taking place with single persons being authorized multiple voting entities.

**Think about when you create a new email, or register as a user on certain websites, and the verification process that follows** - "we've sent a link to your email, please click on the link to verify" - OR- "Please enter the 8 digit code we've sent SMS to your cell phone"...etc.

Once this personal ID/Code has been given, verified, and authorized...we now have a system in place that allows us all to cast a vote from any of our devices from home if we like...all we have to do is log onto the verified and secured website- For old schoolers or just people in general who wish to partake in the physicality of the in person vote - let that remain an option. It's a classic pastime for sure.

Having a digital footprint and authorization methods also allows you to receive email confirmation of your "Order" or - VOTE in this example.

It should be this easy, especially in this day and age -if for no other principle that the utter waste of resources, payroll, and paper that the current process dictates.

-No room for a miscounting factor relating to human error
-No sinister plots or schemes for individuals who wish to inject their own bias
-No COVID related safety issues
-No safety issues relating to the clashing opinions at the polls from loudmouth bullies of either party

We should be able to know who won the election in a matter of a few hours - Do we need to commission the producers of American Idol and Americas Got Talent to figure out how to make this work...

If I'm wrong...someone tell me why...in this day and age it should really be this easy should it not?
