Maybe the pots and pans shortage has to do with the same thing as the coin shortage, now that I think about it, both types of metals, probably nickel in both. Also, laptops, always keeping an eye on those, Walmart did get some in, but now noticing out of stock on almost everything. Best Buy, same thing, they started keeping more in stock, and now stuff not being replaced. Like a lot of the lower-end ones just plain gone, and like the ASUS Vivobook, they had a few last week, all gone, not one of the ones I was looking at left. |

(OP) User ID: 77232079 United States 08/15/2020 08:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My brother bought a house in april, we been gutting it for months.. He ordered flooring 2.5 months ago and they just told him "maybe" end of september.. Wtf is that? Quoting: AlphaWolf I heard there was a wood shortage, not sure if that's what he ordered, but yeah, things are getting weird, not buying the COVID story either. The factories in China had plenty of time to reset. Someone on another thread said something about how China is requiring cash up front on all orders now, no letters of credit, not sure how to validate that, but that would make more sense as to why all this stuff is missing. |

For stuff like bikes and appliances the demand went parabolic during the lockdown and the supply is still gone for the next few months. If you can't find something, try online first or special order it. |

Yeah, maybe if they're wanting cash up front, then they don't have it in stock in US, and not placing orders in advance, strange times. Could be all reset related too, countries might not trust other currencies. |
