My father was obese.
So was every one on his mothers side of the family
though she herself was quite normal weight wise.
My father with the help of my mother tried every
diet that hit the news or shelves or was suggested
by his doctors. As he suffered horrible health
issues later in life.
So i have compassion for obese people.
I have friends who struggle with it big time.
They lead incredibly lonely lives.
As a hobby because of my father i have studied
nutrition for most of my life.
But in today's society those diets are almost
impossible to stay with.
So instead of passing judgement or making bad
jokes about these people.
How about showing them a little compassion ???
And perhaps a friendly smile or "hello.
While being grateful that You do not suffer
from the curse of obesity.

There was a story done on people who needed fecal transplants. One was a person who was always thin. After the transplant they got really fat even though they had the same diet. Found out the transplant was from an obese person. They demanded another transplant from and thin person. After that the weight dropped off. I wonder after this how much our gut bacteria has on our weight. I know some people just eat themselves to death but some don’t. Maybe their bacteria is different.
