We do not even have to look down at them, just don't track it into the house mk

Hummingbirds!



They love this huge patch of sunflowers in the yard. The flowers are like 15 feet high this year. It is crazy! :)

Hip waders or thigh highs?

I like thigh highs but hip waders may be more practical here?

My daughter loves hummingbirds.

I bought her a feeder so she can sit on the porch and watch them come eat, and I let her help me make the dye free sugar water to put in the feeder, they come and eat all day and she loves it.

I think they are pretty cool too.

So important in nature as the all things.. we all know when the hummingbirds no longer survive this earth, man will soon follow? :(

We bought three bird feeders and seed too, trying to get as many birds around as possible because they also eat mosquitos.

We even have a few bats in the trees that also eat mosquitos.

We all love nature but hate mosquitos, lol.

I know what you mean. Im just worried.

How long can we stand alone, even with God if that's how it is, while they burn & tear down the world and structure around us?

And I don't just mean rioters and the lot, I mean all the idiots and scheming demons in the seats of power these days.

There are so few elected officials with intelligence, wisdom and integrity.


We can choose not to enter the fray needlessly, but we cannot hide from what surrounds us.

I feel like He had/has a plan, and a lot of this is necessary somehow.

I concur, however, after the first sixteen years of life getting chawed on by mosquitoes in wyo, I can count every bite since. Very few in life after the first initial experience. This year, my cats are not allowed to kill the birds. So far I think we have been ok, unless they are and I have not noticed yet? I told the birds to stay high and the sunflowers seem to do it for them. They have food al year now. I leave the dead up and use it to frame the regrowth in the spring and bring out more bird seed. I am so happy with those sunflowers!

Our male hunter cat killed a blue jay and proceeded to eat it on the trampoline the other day and my daughter was heartbroken.

Sigh, such is nature, a double edged sword.

seems the peoples choice had always been to put less then worthy characters in office. I, for one, will have no part in it. I answer to a greater authority.

Did the other Blue jays go off? OMG my dog caught a blue jay one time, and all the other blue jays just went crazy?

I haven't seen one since but it was only a couple weeks ago, and they were pretty rare anyway.

I had to just tell her, cats hunt, that's what they do.

That is very kind. I do not want to live that long. I have it worked out perfect with God.

Yeah kitties are hunters! The eat the bird thing though? Now the hunter cat I have wants raw meat after she gets a few mice or birds in.

Mines a year old.

We just let him stay outside because he was always wanting out, but he still eats a little cat food but prefers to hunt.

He likes birds and lizards, lol.

He caught a horned toad and was trying to eat it, but my daughter saved it.

They are kinda going extinct here so we made sure to let him go safely.
