A few things that jumped out at me were the guy with his arms resolutely crossed while everyone around him was giving the nazi salute, and the visual reminder that fascism is "creeping", as demonstrated by the reels of the nazi party in its early years contrasted with the reels of the nazi party at the fullness of its power.

The only thing that could have made this better was showing people bowing and scraping before the demon "gods" of BaaLiM, on the sports field or "protests" or elsewhere, to reflect the line: "And the people bowed and prayed, to the neon god they'd made".

I loved that image of the guy being the only one who didn't do the salute! I also found the image of Elizabeth Smart to be very powerful as well!

Interesting that an article written before COVID-19 would mention the mask debate back then. Also interesting to see that today's argument still falls along the same lines.
