Description on video this morning: “Amy, 11, becomes fascinated with a twerking dance crew. Hoping to join them, she starts to explore her femininity, defying her family’s traditions.” Description now: "Amy, 11 years old, tries to escape family dysfunction by joining a free-spirited dance clique named "Cuties," as they build their self confidence through dance." The video ad on YT is still up. Give em' hell. "Netflix has moved quickly to take down the offending artwork and already has replaced it; it wouldn’t confirm whether the poster was made in-house or by an agency. The streamer also apologized instatement to Deadline: “We’re deeply sorry for the inappropriate artwork that we used for Cuties. How pathetic that they think it's just the "artwork" that's offensive. Everything about this movie is wrong when it involves an 11-year-old girl.
