This does not help sleep. The affect on me is that I have a couple of nights where I feel I am completely wide awake and have not slept at all. This is very disconcerting, of course. These incoming energies affect every cell - it will bring out the "worst" and improve" the "best". This is happening on all levels - cellular, in relationships, in politics etc. All "secrets" or impurities are being swilled out to the surface, so that they can be seen, recognized and purged. Maybe detox teas and fasting are relevant at this time. Please consult my problem thread if you feel the need. All the best, color crusader. I'm trying to relax, but Im exhausted. You appear to be reinforcing your upset with even more upset, panic actually, which as I'm sure you know, is not going to calm you down. It's hard, ya know, to think straight when upset....and you're running on no sleep. Poor thing, I know it well.... You NEED to stop running the message of worry and fret over and over in your head. Replace the erratic thoughts with something calming and soothing.....because it's feeling to me like you've worked yourself into a state of panic. I understand why your panicked, I would be too....but just that panic your feeling is now doing you more harm than did the edibles. Get a hold on your panic, lovey....first things first, okay? Are you breathing correctly at this time?....that's the best place to start, is to ensure that you're breathing correctly. Sit down, be mindful of your breathing. Breath correctly, deep into your lungs, and release it easily. It may be a little difficult at first to breath correctly - because internal panicking - but keep at it, it'll come to you. Once you're breathing correctly again, you'll then start to calm down some....and you'll be better prepared to go from there. I think you're going to be fine, but I do think there's something else going on....but not necessarily poor health....heh, I'm wondering if the gestation of it triggered a kind of physical-spiritual awakening....but you're too upset to recognize it. I dunno....but what I do know is that you need to calm down, lovey....right now, okay? You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. -Buckminster Fuller ...I adapt to the unknown, under wandering stars I've grown, by myself, but not alone... Quoting: Love_Goddess Last week I decided to try some low dose Indica Cannabis for the very first time ever, for some arthritis in my left arm. I used 5mg of an edible every night for four nights, and each night my sleeping pattern grew increasingly worse, and I had was starting to feel anxiety creeping up, so I stopped it and decided it wasn't for me. That was six nights and I haven't been able to fucking sleep since!! I used to sleep from 9 to 5, but now I just toss and turn, and am lucky if I get two hours. Melatonin doesn't help, pure cbd oil doesn't help, over the counter sleep aids don't work, if anything, they make me even more alert! Ive had to quit working over this, and honestly, I am so upset and so terrified becauseI've never ever heard of this happening to anyone. Isnt Indica weed supposed to relax you? Do I just have to wait it out and wait for my system to get back to normal or have I done some kind of irreparable damage to myself? If I had known it had the potential to do this, I would never have gone anywhere near it. Its basically ruining my life. Maybe CKP has been right all along? Someone please just help me, because I can't go on like this. To say I hate marijuana is an understatement right now. Why didn't anyone warn me?????? Edible marijuana is too strong for first time users, even low dose types. And there are many different strains of Indica which are usually not stated on the edible. You probably used a recreational strain, sleeping is not a recreational activity. You could try getting a strain of dry flower for sleeping. You can check on leafly the right ones. Or basically any purple Indica will knock you out. If you're not into smoking; put some peanut butter on a cracker, put 0.5g of ground weed on top, toast, eat. Keep in mind that eating marijuana takes around 3 hours to start working. Where as smoking it works right away and give you better control of the buzz. |

Thanks Quoting: Love_Goddess Does it have crazy side effects like Ambien? This is what I will do if it doesn't go away. Im desperate enough to go and ask for it. And I am someone who NEVER uses pharmaceuticals. You WILL go crazy if you do not get sleep for a week. See a doctor right away and get those sleeping pills. If you cannot see your regular doctor, try a walk in clinic. Those pills do have side effects for long term use (look it up), but going crazy is not fun. Whether the pot did it or not, you need to solve this before it gets out of hand. Here is a summary of the sleep deprivation stages: [link to www.healthline.com (secure)] I feel like I am going crazy for sure. I just sit here crying all the time, so stunned because I lost my job and out of sheer shock, I think. People keep saying THC takes time to leave the body, so I still have hope and that's why haven't gone so far. I will go if I cant find a solution here today. I had gone MANY years without touching pot, until one night, I took a couple puffs. No big deal I thought, I barely even felt anything. A few hours later, I woke up in a shock, filled with dread and anxiety, like something scared me awake. It took months for the feelings of anxiety to fade. Pot heads will blame me, that the pot “brought something out” or that I had “stuff to deal with”. Questions and effects of pot are never met with answers that implicate pot’s effects on people that don’t use it everyday. Sure, you can use it every day, never feel the negative effects, but when you stop for a decade and try it again, you might notice it’s not the same as it was. But whatever, the answer to a sound mind and body is good food, clean water, exercise and sex. Here, you’ll get people telling you to drink vinegar and to take other medicines or try other weeds..... Ya don’t need that crap, just need a decent steak, tall glass of water and get your hair pulled 😝 *INTJ* If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? I had to give it up after 15 years because it started causing horrible panic attacks. My husband who smoked even longer than me also has given it up for the same reason. But you still enjoyed it for 15 years. Don't deny it. I really think it's the newer strains that are kicking both of our asses. I've posted about it plenty of times on other threads dealing with other people all of a sudden developing issues as well. It really sucks because we really used to love it. It's just not worth knowing from bag to bag whether I'm going to be flipping out for the rest of the night sitting in an ER parking lot until I come down enough to go back home or not. They're not really "new", but yeah. Some strains can be pretty wicked. While some are more kind. It's not really connected to potency either. They can be strong and kind or weaker but still wicked. Also, they do different things to different people. For example, a strain I don't like. That makes it difficult to think, where's my keys, why did I come in this room? Is a favorite for some others. If you try again, I'd skip the extract and smoke or better yet vaporize some nice herb. You'll be OK OP, try drinking some green tea and ponder on what it was you were actually afraid of? |

Marijuana is a hallucinogenic. For most people that just means it makes you think weird thoughts. Ones that seem very profound the night before, so much so you want to write them down. When you read them the next day they seem idiotic. Its because hallucinogenics are SPIRITUAL. You are literally calling devils into to your mind. LSD and magic mushrooms are the same. They are actually WORSE than other drugs. You are committing spiritual adultery against your creator by being intimate with those who hate him. THE CURE: On the physical level, do a heavy workout and take some ZMA. It will replenish those key sleep minerals if they are low. On the spiritual level, repent. Cry out to Jesus and apologize to him for committing spiritual adultery. He created you and also died for you. Get a Bible and listen to it. It will also help you sleep. I will pray for you. Anonymous Coward User ID: 54861429 United Kingdom 08/23/2020 09:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just go back to cbd. It should calm you ( maybe not straight away ) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79184125 Water soluble or oil with a lab test. Can you say what brand you bought. You should have good brands in US. Im using CBD isolate right now because it lets me relax in bed and is supposed to undo the effects of THC. That along with magnesium, l theanine, gaba, melatonin etc. They relax my body, but mind is wide awake. It races, while my body relaxes. Ive never felt so weird in my who entire damn life!! You mean what edible did I take? This may sounds fucking ridiculous, and it's up to you whether you decide to listen to me, but here's my input as someone who knows a fair bit about this sort of stuff.. Everything is based on frequency. If your frequency is low, taking something like Cannabis will raise it and you will feel better. If your frequency is higher than Cannabis though, taking it will cause your frequency to decrease, and that's when you'll end up feeling things like anxiety, paranoia, insomnia etc. etc. Basically...you need to raise your frequency back up. So, try to maintain a positive focus where you can...and if that's too much of a stretch right now, just keep asking yourself "how can I feel a bit more comfortable?". Then do that thing, and ask yourself the question again and again. I promise you that you have not done lasting damage. I know exactly what kind of state you're in right now. It won't last forever, even though it can certainly feel like that. Take it easy. I suggest drinking only spring water if you can get your hands on it, or mineral water for the next few days. Eat high vibrational foods - so this may mean choosing to eat mainly fruit and veg (especially the green stuff). Be careful with the CBD, as whilst this can help counter THC, it might still be affecting the frequency of your body (and mind)...same with the other medicines. But go with trusting your body more than anything or anyone else right now. If you're open to it, or even already have some, clear quartz, Lepidolite, Black Tourmaline, and Petrified Wood are all good minerals to get. The Clear Quartz has a high frequency, Lepidolite is a great crystal I use time and time again for anxiety and thought spirals (it has natural Lithium within it so it also has a very calming affect). The Black Tourmaline and especially Petrified Wood are great "grounding" crystals. Going through guided mindfulness meditations with or without these crystals can be really powerful in helping to detach from the thoughts and feeling more of a sense of control of it all. If you can, go outside and sit with your feet on the bare Earth, or even better, stuck in some mud. And finally...it might be worth exploring anything that may be coming up for you from your subconscious. So, things like Shadow Work and Parts Work are a couple suggestions I'd give you, but I would first recommend you getting yourself back into a more regulated state. Right now you're going to be highly dysregulated if you haven't been getting much sleep, let alone the other stuff on top of it. You'll be okay |
