It won't last forever, even though it can certainly feel like that. Take it easy. I suggest drinking only spring water if you can get your hands on it, or mineral water for the next few days. Eat high vibrational foods - so this may mean choosing to eat mainly fruit and veg (especially the green stuff). Be careful with the CBD, as whilst this can help counter THC, it might still be affecting the frequency of your body (and mind)...same with the other medicines. But go with trusting your body more than anything or anyone else right now. If you're open to it, or even already have some, clear quartz, Lepidolite, Black Tourmaline, and Petrified Wood are all good minerals to get. The Clear Quartz has a high frequency, Lepidolite is a great crystal I use time and time again for anxiety and thought spirals (it has natural Lithium within it so it also has a very calming affect). The Black Tourmaline and especially Petrified Wood are great "grounding" crystals. Going through guided mindfulness meditations with or without these crystals can be really powerful in helping to detach from the thoughts and feeling more of a sense of control of it all. If you can, go outside and sit with your feet on the bare Earth, or even better, stuck in some mud. And finally...it might be worth exploring anything that may be coming up for you from your subconscious. Also if u want to try something else for sleep try kratom , take 2 or 3 small spoon fulls about 2 hours before you want to sleep. U won’t be able to keep your eyes open . But cannabis is the healthiest option I would not give up on it just yet, just take a real dose , u basically took a placebo at 5 mg. |

THC can remain in the body for a few weeks. Dont take any thing and look for a positive trend, if sleep improves gradualy, then this could be the problem. That's what I've heard, that it takes time, especially for females, because they carry more body fat. But I really didn't expect it to cause such crazy insomnia, especially since Im not a user, I just dabbled. Im worried that it has altered my brain chemistry and now I will need prescription sleep meds forever or something. Both alcohol and pot interrupt the REM cycle...heavy users who suddenly stop, will have intense dreams...very real and in fact even more real than reality... This is a %100 true statement. I never dream while on pot, and as soon as I stop for a few days my dreams become super vivid. Also for OP's insomnia problem, its because Marijuana is an introspective herbal medicine, it can revive suppressed memories and experiences that altered the path of our psyche's development while granting the user a chance to review and self-analize how those experiences changed who you are. Hence the insomnia, OP can't sleep because her mind is now trying to show her something important. Its best to embrace it in meditation and allow the Marijuana to do its job than to now go and add on another phobia to your collective personal psyche (that is counterproductive). |

But I really didn't expect it to cause such crazy insomnia, especially since Im not a user, I just dabbled. Im worried that it has altered my brain chemistry and now I will need prescription sleep meds forever or something. I will say it again 5 mg is not enough for a normal sized human to fell at all. And certainly would not keep u up. U bascule took a placebo try doing it properly take at least 30mg. U half assed it and your brain did the rest by itself .
